Cheers, to the summer heat! (but pick your drink mindfully)

This summer is showing itself to be a warm, bright and a grass scorcher of a summer so far.  The added hours of daylight and sun can really boost our mood.  The long evenings cause us to be out more, maybe seeing others and finding reasons to socialise.  It's a wonderful time, but not without it's challenges.  Surviving the 30+ degree days and evenings at home without a/c currently feels somewhat dissimilar to such temperatures when we holiday abroad with the pool and sea on tap, along with a good dose of all inclusive food and drinks and a much slower pace.

Regarding the drinks, I want to really encourage you to think about the choice of drink you pick when out celebrating or being around the home and in the garden.  I speak with a lot of people who realise their relationship with alcohol can be habit and in some instances, not helpful or the best choice.  But, identifying this and then changing it can be hard.

I'm not here to judge what we should drink and in what situations and how much.  I am here to advise you all to really analyse what drinks are your 'go-to' and in what situations.  If you feel they are not the best for you or do not have the best outcomes, you can take steps to change.  If it's hard and you are struggling to make the changes speak out and get support.
