It's probably apparent to most of us this week, it's being celebrated that David Attenborough has turned 100, wow that's some milestone. It got me thinking that some of this (perhaps quite a lot actually) may well be due to the amount of time he has spent within nature, around animals, feeling the elements and no doubt caring for the earth. We read how good being outdoors is for us, surely this is absolute proof if we ever doubted it.
I'm encouraging you all to get outside come rain or shine. Visit new areas and places you love, soak in the calm and take time to really look and feel your surroundings. If you're unable to get outside try and bring the outdoors in, open a window or doors, buy plants and flowers. Try to spot birds and the wildlife around you, let all other things and distractions fade away. Go on, nurture your relationship with nature, make the most of the long days and warmer climes.
